We are pleased to announce that Burns Industrial Equipment has acquired the assets of Equipco, effective April 6, 2018. Burns will now represent both Hyster® and Yale® products in western Pennsylvania, and in portions of West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland. The combined company will make Burns the largest and most comprehensive materials handling distributor in the region, with expanded product and service offerings to serve you even better.
Both Equipco and Burns Industrial Equipment are long-standing, family businesses built on a passion for the materials handling industry and a commitment to exceptional customer service. We believe that every customer is our partner in business, and we look forward to continuing our successful relationship with you.
The Equipco operation in Bridgeville will be consolidated into the Burns facility in Warrendale, PA. Our goal is to create a seamless transition for our customers. The phone numbers and email addresses for Equipco will stay the same. The majority of the Equipco staff will be joining Burns, and we look forward to this influx of knowledge and talent into our organization. Cara Swanson, President of Equipco, will also be joining us in a consultative role during the transition.
